You are here: What is a consignor?
A consignor is a person for whom you are selling goods or merchandise. You, the consignee, act as a 3rd party link between the seller (consignor) and buyer by displaying the consignor's items for sale in your store. Once an item or group of items is sold, you (the consignee) pay your consignor the agreed-upon amount for his or her sold merchandise with a check, cash, gift card, or store credit, depending on your agreement with the consignor.
